Thank you for the Kitchen Sisters story “Tequila Nation: Mexico Reckons With Its Complicated Spirit.” It is one of the few depictions of Mexican people and culture that does not fit the US media’s Mexico coverage paradigm of drug cartel deaths and illegal immigration. Treating our neighbors as friends is the first step in helping them to become so.
